I am a student pursuing my graduate education in Color In Informatics and Media Technology (CIMET) through the Erasmus Mundus study program. This is a huge step for me, and I am excited to see where the next two years take me.

I received my undergraduate degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I studied Imaging Science and Imaging and Photographic Technology. My curriculum covered a wide range of topics, most notably:
  • Digital Imaging Systems
  • Color Management and Science
  • Optics and Optical Physics
  • Digital Signal and Image Processing
My personal interest is in digital image processing, and I spent a considerable amount of time working for the Multidisciplinary Vision Research Lab and Digital Imaging and Remote Sensing Laboratory writing software for imaging purposes. I started working in MATLAB, but have recently been moving towards C/C++ and Python.

While at RIT, I also had the opportunity to work with faculty in the Motion Picture Science department designing and implementing a workflow for the Arri D-21 digital cinema camera for scientific video capture.

On my own time, I am quickly becoming a hardware and embedded systems enthusiast. You'll see some projects in this domain cropping up soon!
